Well, I didn't have time to write Sawdust and Mistletoe yet. That made me a little sad, but sometimes you just have to let stuff go!
I did, however, get "Spindle Cursed" finished and submitted to the Rooglewood Press Five Magic Spindle's contest. That was a huge accomplishment for me. The December 31st deadline was breathing down my neck, but I got it sent off at 9:40 pm - in time to enjoy New Year's Eve. Truth to be told, after 2 days of hardcore writing and editing to wrap it up (actually getting it under the 20,000 words as the rules demanded), I was celebrating the fact that I actually got it done more than the New Year.
By March, I'll know one way or the other. If I didn't make it as one of the 5 winners, I'll get to work publishing it on my own so stay tuned!
My next announcement is that I've re-titled my artist story Something Radiant and I'll be completing the rough draft for that story this month!
The Trouble with Billionaires.
